In this first episode, Master Herbalist Chad Cornell dives into an exploration of our global traditions of healing with plants. From ethical wild harvesting and the growing importance of herbal antibiotics, to ancient Indigenous healing traditions and the latest scientific research into the legendary Chaga Mushroom. The role of the herbalist is to reconnect others to the earth, to the deeper spiritual nature of nature, and to generate a harmonious world for ourselves and future generations.
Master Herbalist Chad Cornell journey’s into the ancient terrain of a 5,000 year old Indian healing art and science known as Ayurveda. So much can be known about the healing properties of plants simply through exploring their taste and appearance. Chad explores key herbs known to restore digestive balance, and mental clarity, as well as such legendary herbs as Frankincense & Reishi Mushroom which are known to address respiratory health and inflammation on all levels of our being.
In this third episode, Master Herbalist Chad Cornell delves deeper into the topic of healing on deeper more subtle levels. He also shares the Cree legend known as the Warriors of the Rainbow which states that we live in a unique age when people of all cultures and nations will unite out of their love for the earth, the next generations, and the the Great Spirit that flows through all things. Chad will spotlight such powerful sexual and restorative herbs as Ashwagandha, Angelica, and Ginseng along side others which can benefit libido, aid in stress relief and can even be used to support higher levels of human awareness.
In this fourth episode, Master Herbalist Chad Cornell explores the concept of Vital Force and Kundalini as well as plants that are specifically known to promote higher levels of consciousness and healing. From India’s legendary sacred herb Holy Basil to the ceremonial healing importance of Tobacco around the globe - there are plants that are renowned for their ability to align and guide us both psychologically and spiritually. When used respectfully and intelligently, plants can aid us in our healing, not only physically but on the level of soul. The role of the herbalist is to reconnect others to the earth, to the deeper spiritual nature of nature, and to generate a harmonious world for ourselves and future generations.
